HOW TO GET TO US
Car or Bike:
- From Vimperk via Lipka: The shortest, but narrow road. Take the main road to the international check point Strážný, cross the railway and then after approximately 1 km in left curve turn right to the narrower road (direction Lipka), stay on this road, pass Lipka village and go until you get to a T junction with the road Nové Hutě - Nový Svět - Borová Lada, turn left here and after about 1 km you are in Borová Lada – at the first junction turn right, pass the bridge over the Teplá Vltava River, on the next junction turn right again (direction Kvilda), pass the municipality office, Borůvka restaurant and grocery shop (on the left hand) and Černý Vlk restaurant (right), and just after kindergarten turn left to us – you will see the sign with our logo.
- From Vimperk via Nový Svět: Take the road to Zdíkov, Stachy and Kvilda, on the top of the hill turn left (direction Kvilda) and go along this road through forest, then turn left to a very narrow road to Šindlov (direction Borová Lada, usually impossible in winter) or about 1 kilometer farther turn left to Nové Hutě and through Nový Svět to Borová Lada. At the beginning of Borová Lada, at the first junction turn right, pass the bridge over the Teplá Vltava River, on the next junction turn right again (direction Kvilda), pass the municipality office, Borůvka restaurant and grocery shop (on the left hand) and Černý Vlk restaurant (right), and just after kindergarten turn left to us – you will see the sign with our logo.
- From Strážný (international check point) or Volary via Horní Vltavice: Keep the main international road until Horní Vltavice, at the end of village turn left, direction Borová Lada and Kvilda, and go along this road directly to Borová Lada. At the first junction in the village keep the main street (almost straight, very slightly left), pass the bridge over the Teplá Vltava River, on the next junction turn right again (direction Kvilda), pass the municipality office, Borůvka restaurant and grocery shop (on the left hand) and Černý Vlk restaurant (right), and just after kindergarten turn left to us – you will see the sign with our logo.
- From Sušice Upstream the Otava River: Keep the river valley, pass the digression to Kašperské Hory and continue along the river in the direction to Rejštejn, after you pass it, turn left up to Svojše, Horská Kvilda and Kvilda. From Kvilda take the direction to Borová Lada and along the Teplá Vltava River valley you will get directly to Borová Lada. Pass a bridge over the river and after a longer straight passage of the road you will see right our sign with logo and turn right to us.
By Bus:
The bus stop is located directly in the village center, just few steps from our apartments. In Vimperk there you can change bus from long-range bus lines or train. During weekends you can get to Borová Lada by the direct bus line from Prague Smíchov (Knížecí bus station).
From Prague via Strakonice and Vimperk it is about 160 km to us, from České Budějovice via Netolice, Husinec and Vimperk about 70 km, from Plzeň via Klatovy, Sušice and Kvilda about 100 km.
